To record a time entry, open Time Entries, create a batch, select the batch type, enter the time entry details, and save the entry. Normal batches must be posted before they are complete.
Use this procedure to create a time entry batch and record a new time entry in Juris.

Select Transactions > Time Entries.

Click the New icon on the toolbar.
You can also select Form > New > Time Entry.
The Time Batch Type window opens.
- In Batch Type, select the type of batch to create:
- Normal
- Direct
- Adjustment
- In Comment, accept the default comment, or double-click in the text box and enter a new comment.

Click OK.
The batch window opens.

Click the New icon on the toolbar to open a new Time Entry window.
You can also select Form > New or press Ctrl+N.

In the Time Entry window, enter or select the time entry details.
Press F9 in any text box to duplicate the value from the previous time entry. Text boxes can also be set to duplicate automatically by selecting auto-duplicate options under Tools > Preferences in the Time Entry window. For more information, see Time Entry Preferences.
- Save the time entry using one of the following options:
- Click the Save icon on the toolbar.
- Select Form > Save.
- Press Ctrl+S.
