To create an ODBC data source:

Open your Windows Control Panel.

Select Administrative Tools > Data Source (ODBC).
The ODBC Data Source Administrator window opens.

On the File DSN tab click the Add button.
The Create New Data Source window opens.
- Select the SQL Server driver.

Click the Next button.
- Enter a name for the Data Source.

Click the Next button.
A Create a New Data Source to SQL Server window opens.
- Click the Finish button.
- Enter a Description and select the Server.

Click the Next button.
- Click on the With SQL Server authentication and use the login... option.
- In the Login ID box, type JurisRPT
- In the Password box, DO NOT TYPE A PASSWORD, instead leave it blank (as shown above.)

Click the Next button.
Another window opens.
- Make sure to change the default database to the Juris® database (not JBills).

Click the Next button.
Another window opens.
- Accept the defaults and click the Finish button.
- Click on the Test Data Source button.
- Click on the OK button to close the wizard.
Now that the Data Source has been established, it may be used to link to Juris through ODBC compliant software such as Microsoft Access or Excel.
