About Transaction Folders
Juris can insert batches into a predefined folder structure. This feature may become more useful after Juris has been in use for some time and the number of batches begins to grow.
Using transaction folders can make it easier to keep related batches organized and easier to locate.
Transaction batch naming conventions
When an expense batch is created in Juris, Juris automatically generates the batch name using the following information:
- Next available consecutive batch number
- User ID of the person creating the batch
- Date the batch is created
Some firms edit batch names to use naming conventions that are more meaningful for their environment. However, the default batch names are descriptive, and many firms choose to use the default naming convention created by Juris.
