Import or Export Bill Formats

Use Bill Designer to import a bill format file into Juris or export an existing bill format from Juris. If you email an exported bill format, zip the file first to help prevent corruption.

Bill formats can be imported into the Juris database or exported from the database to share with another Juris user.

Import a bill format

  1. Select Juris > Billing > Bill Designer.

  2. Select Tools > Import.

  3. Browse to the location of the bill format you want to import.
  4. Select the bill format file.
  5. Click Open.

The bill format appears in the Bill Designer list when the import is complete.

Export a bill format

  1. Select Juris > Billing > Bill Designer.

  2. Select the bill format using one of the following methods:
    • Click the description of the format you want to export.
    • Use the arrow keys to move through the list until the format is selected.

  3. Select Tools > Export.

  4. Browse to the location where the bill format should be saved.
  5. In the File Name box, enter a name for the file.
  6. Click Save.

The bill format can now be sent to another user.
