Select by Frequency
Billing frequency is determined at the matter level for fees and expenses. Billing frequency may be set to Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannually, Annually, or On Cycle.
Matters set to Quarterly, Semiannually, or Annually also require a billing period, or Billing Month, to be set.
When Select by Frequency is used, Juris selects all matters set to Monthly and any Quarterly, Semiannually, or Annually matters whose Billing Month matches the Billing Period selected in Select Prebills.
By default, all timekeepers are included in the selection. You can further limit the selection by including or excluding specific timekeepers.
- In the Billing Period box, accept the default of 1, or enter the number of billing periods to include.

When Cycle is set at the matter level, a cycle number must also be entered for that matter. The cycle may be any number from 1-999.
Cycle selection allows the firm to create custom billing cycles. For example, a firm may use cycles 1, 2, 3, and 4 for weekly billing groups within a month.
