Email Templates are a feature that allows for a uniform email to be created for all clients when emailing bills. Once completed, Export & Email will include the updated template.
Accessing Email Template
- Navigate to Juris > Setup and Manage.

Double-click the Email Template icon. The Template Editor displays.

To change the Subject line of the email, click Custom and edit the field next to Custom.

Make changes to the message in the Email Body.

Insert Variables to auto-fill the client, matter, and online payment links when the email is sent. See Email Template Variables for a list of available variables.

Change the Payment Link Text to set the label to appear before the {Payment Link Text} variable in the Email Body.

Change the Trust Deposit Link Text to set the label to appear before the {Trust Deposit Link Text} variable in the Email Body.

Click Save to enable the new template.
Payment Link Text
The Payment Link Text field allows custom text to be entered and added to the Email Template. When LawPay is enabled the LawPay link is inserted in the email with the Payment Link text.
Available Tokens
When Online Payments is enabled within Firm Options, the link tokens will display only if there are links generated.
Available tokens:
- PaymentLinkText: LawPay deposit link located on the Client on the Billing tab.
- MatterPaymentLinkText: LawPay deposit link located on the Matter on the Billing tab.
- TrustDepositLinkText: LawPay Trust deposit link located on the Matter on the Billing tab
- ClientName: The Client Reporting name.
- MatterName: The Matter Reporting name.
- MatterCode: as defined in the Matters record.

FirmName: as defined in Setup and Manage > Change Firm Name
